On Higher Dimensional Beauville Manifolds

Abstrakt: A Beauville surface is a rigid complex surface obtained as the quotient of a product of two smooth projective curves by a finite group. These surfaces admit a purely group-theoretic description. For this reason, there has been great interest in classifying the associated Beauville groups. In this talk, we explore some aspects of higher-dimensional generalizations of Beauville surfaces from a topological and group-theoretic perspective.
