PROFIL

W Zakładzie Spektroskopii Fazy Skondensowanej prowadzone są badania materiałów optoelektronicznych mających zastosowanie jako luminofory, materiały laserowe, scyntylatory i ekrany rentgenowskie.

Spektroskopia optyczna materiałów – kryształów oraz szkieł

W ramach tej tematyki działa laboratorium badawcze spektroskopii wysokociśnieniowej z wykorzystaniem wysokociśnieniowych komór z kowadłami diamentowymi. Prowadzi się badania w zakresie spektroskopii materiałów domieszkowanych jonami metali przejściowych i ziem rzadkich. Prowadzone są również badania w zakresie kinetyki luminescencji.

Prace teoretyczne nad rozwojem kwantowego modelu domieszek metali przejściowych z uwzględnieniem sprzężenia z siecią

W tym zakresie ważne są prace o strukturze energetycznej jonów Cr3+ oraz prace dotyczące oddziaływania Jahna-Tellera i tzw. pseudo efektu Jahna-Tellera. Rozwinięty model teoretyczny stosowany jest do analizy ilościowej prac doświadczalnych.

Spektroskopia przejść nieradiacyjnych z wykorzystaniem spektroskopii fotoakustycznej oraz modelowanie kinetyki procesów bezpromienistych w stanach wzbudzonych

W ramach tej tematyki prowadzono badania kryształów dielektryków domieszkowanych jonami Ti3+, V4+, Ce3+, Cr3+ i Cr4+.
